When I was writing Bury Your Gays, I looked up at the TV my wife had on in the background and saw this striking and brilliant actor, stealing every scene they were in. From then on, whenever I imagine Grace in my head, I saw Jude. Gemma Hoff is the Hair & Makeup Designer on Bury Your Gays. She is known for designing films such as Oscar-winning The Brutalist, My Fault London, and Pieces of a Woman, to name a few. Gemma is an incredible talent, and we were so lucky to have her and her wonderful team on board. Gemma jumped at the chance to design Bury Your Gays after reading the script. She found it to be a fun yet poignant story, and a creatively rich challenge for her and her team - with a wide range of looks and references to many different genres. Dale Elena McCready BSC NZCS is the cinematographer of Bury Your Gays Dale is a New Zealand-born TV and feature cinematographer based in London. Her cinematography credits include Happy Valley, Merlin, Tin Star, Belgravia, The Rising, and The Witcher. Last year, Dale spent six months in Budapest shooting The Day of the Jackal with Eddie Redmayne, as well as filming Doctor Who in Wales. She is the Director of Photography on the upcoming Doctor Who spin-off The War Between the Land and the Sea, and is currently on set in Malta shooting the next season of Apollo Has Fallen for Amazon.
