Bury Your Gays is an award-winning comedy short film written and directed by up-and-coming comedy filmmaker Charlotte Serena Cooper. Produced by Charlotte Brownlee and shot by cinematographer Dale McCready, the film premiered in August 2025 at the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival, held at the world-famous TCL Chinese Theatre.
The film quickly became BAFTA- and BIFA-qualifying and has been selected by numerous prestigious festivals, including Aesthetica, Norwich, Birmingham, the San Francisco Queer Film Festival, and The Iris Prize.
The film (19mins) is now available to stream on Channel 4.
